Kelly Armstrong
Registered Midwife
Kelly here. I am Registered Midwife from Ontario. I have worked in a variety of rural and small urban settings throughout Ontario. I am particularly interested in mental health, the transition to parenting and building parenting skills. I teach in the Midwifery Education program through McMaster University.
Outside of midwifery I love gardening, knitting
and learning to play my fiddle.
I am a co-parent of twin girls and a
son – all of whom are adults.
I love being a midwife. My core values are
education and caring which are both closely tied
to informed choice – a core value of the midwifery profession. I was drawn to the Innu Midwifery program to be part of providing clinical services and to support the Innu students to be the next generation of midwives.
