KIM BRIDLE
INNU MIDWIFERY STUDENT - YEAR 4
Hi there, I am Kim Bridle. I am a member of the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation, as well as a 4th year student midwife with the Innu Midwifery Program but most importantly I am a mom to one amazing little guy.
In the past before I started this community program, my prior education background stems from a western system approach making the learning that I have since received from our Midwifery program quite a rather positive change.
Expanding my knowledge of midwifery has been such an eyeopener for me, making me realize the autonomy I have over my own body and changing what I know about pregnancy, birth and postnatal care.
